Perfect for families and small groups, our self-contained two-bedroom cabins on Kangaroo Island sleep up to six guests.
Each cabin features a queen bedroom, a second bedroom with four single bunk beds, a private bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge and dining area, plus a front deck overlooking the peaceful natural surroundings.

Our accessible one-bedroom cabin is designed for comfort and convenience, sleeping up to two guests.
Featuring an open-plan bedroom, living and kitchen area, plus a spacious accessible bathroom, it's the perfect choice for couples or guests seeking accessible accommodation on Kangaroo Island in a peaceful, nature-based setting.
What’s happening?
Our self-contained Kangaroo Island cabins are now open for bookings from 1 October 2026, offering comfortable, nature-based accommodation and the perfect base for exploring Kangaroo Island's spectacular wildlife, national parks and iconic attractions.
The Welcome Stranger Café & Bar is open daily from 10:00am to 4:00pm, welcoming guests, visitors and locals to enjoy barista-made coffee, delicious meals, homemade treats and refreshing drinks in a relaxed, family-friendly setting surrounded by nature.
